We provide a calendar of dance events and local resources as a free service to the dancers in the area and update it frequently. USA Dance is not responsible for events hosted or services offered by others. Please contact event organizer or vendor offering services directly for questions or information on holiday/weather closings. Events and services are ballroom unless otherwise stated.

Our chapter is governed under the rules, policies, and guidelines of our national governing body, USA Dance, Inc. Please review our neutrality policy and other important information.
USA Dance LA Gumbo Chapter 5031 usually hosts a dance in Metairie on the 3rd Saturday of each month. As soon as we can build our post-COVID membership and attendance numbers up to 50 we will invite professional dance instructors to teach complementary lessons at the start of those dances and invite those professional instructors to perform exhibition dances during our break.
No partner is required and all levels of dancers are welcome. Mixer dances will give each dancer, an opportunity to dance with others.
Cost: $12 for members, Students $5
Location: Starlight Ballroom 5050 W. Esplanade Ave, Metairie.
Finger food provided. Anyone is invited to bring other food/drink items to share
